Map of how to get to Garlands

Getting to Garlands Guest House

From Edinburgh Airport

There is a Shuttle Bus service every 10 minutes from the Airport to Waverley Bridge. Thereafter it is a short Taxi ride to Garlands. If there is more than one person travelling we suggest you take a Taxi from the Airport - approximate cost £28. You can also travel into the city centre by tram. This journey takes aproximately 52 minute. The tram terminates at York Place which is a 10-15 walk or a short taxi or bus ride to Garlands.

From Waverley Railway Station

We are a 15-20 minute walk from the station. However, we suggest you take the short taxi ride, especially if you have luggage. The cost will be about £7.00.

From Bus Station

We are a 15-20 minute walk from the station. However, we suggest you take the short taxi ride, especially if you have luggage. The cost will be about £7.00

By Car

Find Princes Street on the map.

The A1 and A68 terminate at the east end of Princes Street. From the A1 you make a right turn from Waterloo Place on to the A900 (Leith). From the A68 you veer right from South Bridge on to the A900. In both case, carry on down Leith Street until you reach a roundabout. Carry straight over (the Playhouse Theatre will be on your right) until you reach a second roundabout. Again carry straight over and head down hill on Leith Walk. Pilrig Street is the third main street on the left (look for the church on the corner). Garlands is on the left hand side.
